My research career began with a Master in environmental science (option : environmental treatment techniques), an experience that allowed me to develop my scientific skills and knowledge by a Morocco/Tunisian collaboration established between the Geosciences and Environment Research team from the Sciences and Techniques Faculty in Tangier and "Analysis, Treatment and Valorisation of the Environment and the Products Pollutants " laboratory from the Pharmacy Faculty in Monastir.Where my involvements related to the comparative impact assessment study of the Hydrocarbons pollution from Moroccan and Tunisian coasts. Since, I have decided to continue in the scientific research field, especially in marine monitoring. Currently I’m undergoing a PhD research investigating the « Response of mussels, Mytilus galloprovincialis, to the presence of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and trace metals of anthropic origin, along the Moroccan Mediterranean coasts ». This work has been undergoing as part of the PHC-Maghreb project, by a Franco-Moroccan cooperation established between the ECOMERS « Coastal Marine Ecosystems and Responses to Stress » research team from University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis and EORN team « Oceanology, Environment and Natural Resource » from Abdelmalek Esaadi University, Tanger, under the direction of Dr. Christine Risso and Professor Hassan Er-Raioui. The aim of present work is to establish the health state diagnosis of the Moroccan coastal marine ecosystems by studying the Eco-toxicological parameters on mussels, Mytilus galloprovincialis living in environments affected by chemical pollution, this includes organic pollutants (e.g. hydrocarbons) and inorganic pollutants (e.g., trace metals).
